Education Program Director
EDUCATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR – Portland Stage seeks an Education Program Director who is
passionate about using the theater to educate and engage community members from preschool through adult learners. The right individual will be excited to lead a series of established programs for young people that center process over product. Working from this strong center, they will help create a vision for continued growth in tandem with our Education
Managing Director. Ranging from in-theater summer camps to workshops/performances in schools, our current programs impact 10,000 students in 13 of Maine’s 16 counties.

This is a full-time position running with compensation between $45,000 and $48,000. The position comes with paid time off and health insurance We expect to start looking at applicants on or before March 1, 2026.
